About Us
We are a mission-driven and inclusive brand with the goal of increasing awareness about mental health and the issues in society that cause it. We believe that our presence in this world should allow us to connect and communicate with each other to realize how similar our deeper issues are. Through our unique media content and products in jewelry and apparel, we hope to inspire and motivate those that have been affected to share their story.
Why THOS and what does it mean?
THOS stands for “The Hidden Ones Story”. I chose the name due to that there is still the stigma around mental health. It prevents individuals from taking any action in helping themselves and anyone else that is affected by it. I realised that not being able to fully express yourself and what you are going through will make myself and anyone else feel hidden and our experiences unknown. However, I want to let people know that they are never alone. That there are individuals from different parts of the world that have gone or going through similar moments in life. Thus, our mental health is the story that we need to start sharing with one another in order to be seen.
Why the brain/face logo in THOS?
I wanted to include a unique symbol in the logo that will indicate that our focus is on supporting mental health and being unisex. For mental health, I chose the brain andI decided to keep the external outline the same. However for the internal lines of the brain, I manipulated them to show both male and female genders for unisex.
Long term goals?
Currently this is just a media page for the brand and I am hoping to provide unique products in the near future once everything is established and settled. In addition, it is very important to me to work alongside non profit organisations for mental health and students in high school and college to create a community and program at their campuses.
